Syllabus

The Post Graduate Diploma is a course aimed at educating and preparing individuals in the medium of hypnosis as an adjunct for treatment in a variety of Health Professional endeavours.

This education is based on an extensive Syllabus of information and procedures for use whose basic structure is:

A     KNOWLEDGE BASE - which includes: History, Theories, Ethics, Myths & Contra-indications

B     PRACTICAL SKILLS - of Induction, Deepening, Re-orientation & the variation in Styles

C     APPLICATIONS TO SPECIFIC ISSUES & POPULATIONS - including: Panic, Phobias, PTSD & OCD

D     ASSESSMENT - ongoing in the course culminating with a 'viva' & the presentation of case studies

On enrolling a student (Associate Member) is supplied with the Syllabus for their use and exploration into the use of hypnosis generally and for their specific area of expertise and interest.

Individuals are also able to seek 'Recognition of Prior Learning' when applying, participating and/or being assessed for the course.
